Job opening: Beta-Tester (round 2)

About the role

This is the second application round for the beta-tester role, and we are still accepting new applications.

A beta tester is a player with insight.

Are you curious about technology and do you enjoy exploring new features before everyone else? Do you notice the small details and bugs that others overlook? Then this could be the role for you.

As a beta tester you actively contribute to the ongoing development of the game through testing, observation and constructive feedback.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in technology and likes to understand how things work
- Is detail-oriented and good at spotting bugs and opportunities for improvement
- Is analytical and precise, and gives constructive feedback
- Has technical understanding: experience with testing is an advantage, but not a requirement

You don't have to be an expert. Curiosity, commitment and the ability to give good feedback matter most.

What we are testing before launch

Several larger features are in testing before they open up for everyone. If you join, this is some of what you will help test early:
- Fight Club: a brand-new arena where you build a fighter, watch the matches simulated live and climb the rankings with dedicated leagues and weekly prizes.
- Scratch Cards: two brand-new tickets where you scratch the symbols yourself, with prizes reaching all the way into the billions.
- Kill The Bot: several contests a day, each with its own bot, prize and rank bracket, so both new and experienced players get their shot.
- Your own airport: own an airport and earn from other players' flights.
- New detective crates: Trace Scout, which reveals who has been snooping on you in the last 24 hours, and Shadow for those who want to stay hidden.
- Avatar flair: a ring, halo or rotating edge around your avatar, shown everywhere your avatar appears.
- Streak tools: repair and insure your online streak, with a warning before it breaks.

Responsibilities

You contribute to the ongoing development of the game through active testing and constructive feedback. Testing takes place on dedicated test servers, and tasks, findings and improvement suggestions are handled in our Trello system. The role tests the game as a regular player and has no administrative rights.

Requirements
- You attend mandatory meetings and let us know before the meeting starts if you cannot make it
- You contribute regularly with testing and keep a steady level of activity
- You respond to a tag/ping within 24 hours and let us know if you are unavailable
- You are comfortable with direct, factual feedback as part of quality assurance
- You are reliable and let us know if your capacity changes
