Privacy Policy for Gambinomafia
§1 – Data controller
Gambinomafia is operated by the game's management, who is the data controller for the personal data collected through the service. If you have questions about how we process your data, you can contact us via the support function or the contact form at login.
§2 – What data we collect
We collect the data you provide at registration (such as username and email address), technical information from your browser (such as IP address and cookies), and activity linked to your user account in the game.
§3 – What we use the data for
The data is used to operate the game, administer your user account, maintain the security of the platform and communicate with you about the service. We do not use it for other purposes without your consent.
§4 – Access and sharing
Personal data such as email address and IP address is only accessible to the game's management (Moderator or higher). We do not share personal data with third parties beyond what is necessary for the services in §5 to function, and never for marketing without your consent. We may, however, disclose data to public authorities where we are legally obliged to do so, or in order to detect and pursue misuse of the service.
§5 – Third-party services
We use certain third-party services for operation and security: Gmail API for sending verification emails and notifications, and Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect registration and login against automated attempts (bots). These process data in accordance with their own privacy policies, and we do not share more than is necessary.
§6 – Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to secure the service. These are necessary for the game to work. If you block them in your browser, you will not be able to log in or play.
§7 – Retention period
We store your personal data for as long as you have an active user account. Your email address is linked to the account and is stored for as long as the account exists. IP addresses are stored for as long as necessary to maintain security and detect misuse of the service, for example the creation of multiple accounts in breach of the guidelines, and are automatically deleted after 12 months. We do not store data longer than necessary for these purposes, unless we are legally required to store it for longer.
§8 – Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to request that it be deleted. Contact us via support or the contact form to exercise these rights.
If you request deletion, we remove the data that can identify you, such as email address and IP address. Data related to gameplay itself, such as statistics and activity, may be retained in anonymized form that can no longer be linked to you, in the interest of the game's integrity.
To protect your account, you must confirm your identity before we process such a request, for example by being logged in or confirming via the registered email address.
§9 – Changes
This policy may be updated. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you through the game..
